Dr. Katherine is a board-certified licensed acupuncturist (LAc & DACM) and herbalist in Oregon. Beyond completing extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), she also received her teaching certificate in the movement based forms of meditation called Qigong and yoga. She is also proficient in National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) protocols, electro-stimulation acupuncture, manual and ear (auricular) therapies.
Her ideal client ranges from those looking for pain management to those pursuing life-long changes through promoting mental health and wellness. She particularly loves working with clients on stress reduction, anxious feelings, depressed mood, insomnia and supporting those going through major life events such as change of job and routines, loss of a loved one, moving, and diagnosis of chronic illness.
She treats a variety of acute and chronic pain conditions like musculoskeletal issues (such as neck, low back and knee pain, tennis or golf elbow, carpal tunnel) and hormone imbalances (such as premenstrual pain, irregularities in flow and menopause). And, provides supportive therapies for those with cancer, hypertension, diabetic presentations, and autoimmune conditions. Systems wise, she treats cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastro-intestinal, and neurological conditions.
